Tahiti Releases Second MV Teaser For Introduces New Member

A second music video teaser for girl group  Tahiti‘s comeback track “Oppa Is Mine” has been released.
While the first music video teaser, showed off a R&B sound, this one has a pop-dance sound and looks more colorful. It also introduces new member Jerry, who is taking the place on Jung Bin. Set for release on June 12, this is the group’s third single and their first song with the new member. Jung Bin was previously announced to leave the group for health reasons.

“Kara Project” to Hold a Large-Scale at Olympic Park Woori Art Hall

The contestants of “Kara Project” will be meeting their fans for the first time through a large-scale showcase. 
Dubbed as the Baby Kara, the seven trainees will be performing at a venue that fits up to 1,200 people. The show will take place at Olympic Park Woori Art Hall on June 15.
To make the event even more special, this showcase will determine the contestants that will move onto the finale of “Kara Project.” The audience will get to vote for their favorite performances, and the votes will account for 30% of the final score, thus making it crucial for each member to impress the viewers. 
Baby Kara’s showcase will be featured in the fifth episode of “Kara Project.” 
“Kara Project” airs on Tuesdays at 6pm on MBC Music and at 12pm on MBC Every1.

Girls’ Generation and Super Junior Join Chinese Variety Show

SM Entertainment‘s Girls’ Generation and Super Junior will be appear on a Chinese variety television program called “Strongest Group“. 
All the members of Girl’s Generation are scheduled to shoot the episode in Seoul on June 11. Although the group has appeared on Chinese TV shows individually or in smaller groups, this is the first time they will be appearing as the whole group. 
Siwon, Kangin, Shindong, Sungmin, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Ryeowook, and Kyunyun participated in the shoot for “Strongest Group” on June 10 to represent Super Junior. 
“Strongest Group”, which will air on Jiangsu Television, and it will be host by Victoria from f(x)Zhoumi of Super Junior-M, and Jun Hyun Moo. The first episode will feature Super Junior. 
The airing dates for Super Junior and Girls’ Generation’s episodes have yet to be announced. 

Jessica Disapproves Taste for “Bad Boys”

Girls’ Generation’s Jessica and f(x)’s Krystal revealed their ideal guys.
On June 10, OnStyle’s variety program, “Jessica & Krystal” was aired where both girls were sitting on the balcony of a café and sharing their deep thoughts regarding each other’s ideal types.
The younger sister Krystal revealed that, “My type is someone like the actor Johnny Depp. In the past, Johnny Depp datedKate Moss and I want to be just like that couple.”
Jessica listened to this and explained that, “If you bring someone like Johnny Depp as your boyfriend, I’m going to be against it. I’m sure you will know soon that people like that are no good.”
Jessica continued on by saying, “It’s because you sort of have a rebellious characteristic. Why do you have so many things you’re discontent about? You can just meet someone who has good manners.”
However, Krystal pointed out that the standard of having good manners is different for everyone.
Jessica expressed her worries by saying, “But isn’t there a guy who is automatically seen as a ‘bad guy’ no matter who sees him? You show interest, especially towards those kinds of people.”
Meanwhile, “Jessica & Krystal” is a 10 episode variety show that shows the daily life of the sisters.

Jung Hyung Don, Yoon Han, ZE:A’s Kwanghee Discuss About “We Got Married”

Singer Kwanghee of ZE:A, pianist Yoon Han, and comedian Jung Hyung Don opened up about their experience on the virtual marriage show, “We Got Married.”
Kwanghee, a panel member of E Channel’s “The Pawn Shop of Love” and opened up about his “We Got Married” experience on the relationship advice talk show. In addition to Kwanghee, Jung Hyung Don and the other male panel member Yoon Han have all participated in “We Got Married” at one point.
Kwanghee, who participated in the show with Secret‘s Sunhwa, said, “At first, we were just very close friends. But with two idols together, it is impossible for feelings not to start developing,” and explained, “When she was wearing shorts, I would worry if she was cold.”
Yoon Han, who left the show earlier this year after his participation with actress Lee So Yeon, said, “I honestly showed the real me while filming,” and made the female MCs swoon with his sweet confession. However, Jung Hyung Don commented, “I had absolutely no feelings at the time,” and made everyone burst into laughter with his completely opposite experience. He was on the show with Girls’ Generation‘s Taeyeon back in 2009.

Park Hae Jin Celebrates 3000 Days

Popular actor Park Hae Jin has celebrated his 3000th day since his debut in 2006.
On June 15, the star left for Japan to participate in a fan meeting event held in Tokyo. However, as today marks the 3000th day since his debut, the airport was flooded with loving fans who came to express their support for the talented actor.
Park Hae Jin expressed his thoughts on reaching a new milestone, “3000 days have already passed since my debut. I am so thankful, and while I don’t know how long I am able to work, I will do my best.”
The actor entered the airport in casual cropped pants and a grey sweater, and topped his look off with large sunglasses. He greeted his fans and other citizens with friendly waves and smiles before boarding the plane.
Park Hae Jin is currently appearing on SBS’ Monday-Tuesday drama “Doctor Stranger.” 

G.NA Takes a Picture with Bora, Raina, Jiyeon, Hyosung and NC.A

G.NA recently shared a picture on her Instagram featuring an awesome lineup of female idols. With her is SISTAR‘s Bora,After School‘s RainaT-ara‘s JiyeonSecret‘s Hyosung and rookie soloist NC.A.    
With Music Bank having a “2014 Brazil World Cup” episode this week, they all came together for the special stage “Fighting Korea” and performed “Micky.”
Bora is one of the current MCs for Music Bank, while Raina has just started promotions of her duet track “A Midsummer Night’s Sweetness” with San E. G.NA, Jiyeon, Hyosung and NC.A are currently promoting their recent tracks on the show. 
It is always fun to see members of different groups (and solo artists) work together for special stages.

Jung Yong Hwa Confirms His Role for “The Three Musketeers”

Singer and actor Jung Yong Hwa of CNBLUE has finally confirmed his casting in the drama “The Three Musketeers.” This drama is inspired by the 1844 French novel of the same name, taking the story into the Joseon Dynasty setting.
Jung Yong Hwa will be playing the role of Park Dal Hyang, a yangban come warrior who has everything going for him, including personality and looks. Park Dal Hyang is the “D’Artagnan” from “The Three Musketeers” novel. Jung Yong Hwa’s character is also involved in a love triangle between Yoon Seo, the Crown Princess, and Crown Prince So Hyun. Yoon Seo is expected to be played by Seo Hyun Jin, the Crown Prince by Lee Jin Wook, when they officially confirm.
“The Three Musketeers” is a season drama being produced by the cable network tvN. There will be three seasons in all with 12 episodes each. The drama is written by Song Jae Jung, the scriptwriter of “Queen In Hyun’s Man” as well as “Nine,” and will be directed by Kim Byung Soo. The first season is slated for an August premiere.

Dasom Isn’t Satisfied with Her Acting

Dasom, a member of the girl group SISTAR, recently revealed her thoughts on her performance as an actor as KBS 1TV’s daily drama, “Melody of Love,” whiched ended on June 6.
On June 11, Dasom sat down with Starnews and expressed her thoughts about meeting her fans as an actor instead of as an idol singer.
In “Melody of Love,” Dasom played the role of Gong Deul Im. Gong Deul Im is an aspiring musical actor who dreams of being on stage one day despite of being the “ugly duckling” within her family.
Dasom began this drama during November of last year with people judging her as an “idol actor.” Recently, many idols have taken up acting and although they are acting well in the parts they are given, the viewers have a mindset that idols can’t act.
Regarding this mindset, Dasom expressed her thoughts and said, “When I started ‘Melody of Love’ with people looking at me as an idol actor, it’s true that it was burdening. Through this drama, I don’t think I broke that mindset about idol singers acting. My acting lacks a lot of things.”
Dasom talked about what she thought about her acting by saying, “When I watch ‘Melody of Love’ and watch how I act, there wasn’t a time where I thought I acted well. I usually think ‘I could’ve done better and it’s too bad that I couldn’t.’ At the end of the day, I was filled with regret.”
She continued on by saying, “I like acting and I wanted to do it so I decided to do it. I don’t know what the viewers think of my acting. Of course, it’s not possible for everyone to like the way I act. However, I’m doing it because I like it and even if they have that mindset, I hope they’ll see me in a good light.”
Dasom also said, “Melody of Love’ is the first drama where I was the main character. Rather than being complimented for acting well, I want people to acknowledge that I did my best.”

Actress and TV personality Clara has revealed photos of her sexy bikini body during a recent trip to Cebu, Philippines.
On June 13, Clara posted on her personal Twitter account, “Dreams come true. True happiness is depends on what you believe [sic],” and “Last day in Cebu. Photographed by Teo,” along with two pictures of the actress in a swimsuit.
Earlier, on June 12, the actress posted a few more pictures of herself enjoying her time in Cebu, as she strikes various poses for the camera. 
In the unveiled photos, Clara can be seen wearing different bikinis, with a beautiful and exotic-looking beach in Cebu as her backdrop, posing for the camera. Her voluminous yet lean figure stands out as she flaunts her sexiness. She is also grabbing the attention of all her male fans with a photo of herself floating in the water with an intense stare.




Sung Yuri Shows Support World Cup with Her Nail Art

Actress Sung Yuri recently showed off her intricate nail art in support of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
The actress’s agency, Fantagio, posted a photo on their official Facebook page of her lovely and detailed nail art. 
In the revealed pictures, you can see that Sung Yuri’s fingernails are decorated with the colors and patterns that represent the national Korean flag, in order to show her support for Korea’s national soccer team that will be playing in the World Cup.
Meanwhile, Sung Yuri and the rest of the SBS’ “Healing Camp” cast and crew took off for Brazil this past June 13 to catch the exciting atmosphere of the 2014 World Cup for the viewers, as well as cheer on the Korean team in person.


A Pink Confirms to Hold First Showcase in August

Girl group A Pink will be entering the Japanese market with their bright and lovable music.
On June 15, their agency A Cube Entertainment commented, “After receiving endless love calls from Japan, A Pink has been confirmed to enter the Japanese market. Their debut will take place this fall, and their first showcase will be held in August.”
“We have also prepared the launch of an official Japanese fanclub, and the debut song will be a translated version of a Korean song that still has the unique charm of A Pink,” the representatives revealed.
The solo showcase is set to be held on August 4 in Tokyo. This will mark A Pink’s first official activity in Japan, and also be the first chance for the local fans to meet the girls.
As A Pink’s most recent comeback with “Mr. Chu” has been a huge success in both Korea and abroad, the prospects look promising for their Japanese debut, and the local media has shown positive reactions to the big news.
